Description
| Feature 01. Multiporosity Structure | |
| (multiporous cancellous image x 45) | Ti-oss is made from 100% cancellous bone without any cortical portion. Innovative pulverizing technique allows multiporous structure, maximizing blood vessel ingrowth. |
| Feature 02. Pore size | |
| (Ti-oss SEM image x 100) | (A Co. SEM image x 100) Average Ti-oss pore size is more than three times of other world leading product. This advanced manufacturing technique permits rapid absorption of blood or saline into the block |
| Feature 03. Osteoconductive surface | |
| (SEM image x 3,000) | Low temperature processing technique allows ideal, natural surface topograph, the same as human bone, stimulating osteoblast activity. Vitrification phenomenon caused by high temperature process has been completely controlled. |
| Feature 04. Octacalcium phosphate crystal | |
| (SEM image x 10,000) | (SEM image x 50,000) Pre HA structure, octacalcium phosphate crystal is found on the surface of Ti-oss, resulting in fast bone formation. |
| | Biopsy Result |
| Feature 05. Large volume | |
| (comparison of CC per gram) | Unique 100% multiporous cancellous nature offers higher quantitative mass volume per gram unit, compared to other nonporous product. This leads to less material cost. |
STEP 2   |   Saturate Ti-oss with patient’s blood or normal saline or PRP(platelet rich plasma)
Avoid distilled water. Fill the defect site with prepared Ti-oss mixture with a sterilized
                   spatula or a surgical spoon.
Do not press Ti oss as the pressure may break down the multiporosity structure.
STEP 3 | Protect the graft mass with membrane or PRP coagulation, or PRF(platelet rich fibrin).
STEP 4   |   Tie up the wound carefully. Exposure to oral cavity may collect oral microorganism,
                   resulting in infection.
STEP 5   |   3-6 months healing time is necessay to make the functional density of bone,
depending on the number of surrounding wall.
| Indication
 | – Bone regeneration and augmentation – Alveolar ridge defect – Extraction defect – Sinus augmentation – Periodontal defect |
| Attention | – Avoid pressure onto Ti oss particle to maintain multiporous nature. Breaking down of Ti oss to tiny pieces drops down the best advantages of Ti oss. |
| Precautions | – Loading pressure onto Ti oss results in tiny dust like shape. – Do not use again once the sterilized seal is open. – Do not use if shelf life cycle is expired. – Store at the temperature range of 4-30’C. – Doctors prescription is required to use Ti oss. |
| Contraindications
 | Following groups are not recommended to use Ti oss. – Osteomyelitis patient – Generalized or Localized Blood dyscrasia patient – Heavy smokers – Radiation therapy patient – Diabetes – Advanced Liver or Kidney disease – Thyroidism etc. |
